Polylogue on Ukrainian identity: a political-cultural discourse of national intellectuals

Abstract

In March 2024, the Ukrainian Institute for the Future launched the project “Constructing Ukrainian National Identity”. Prior to this, a number of public and closed meetings with experts, scientists and cultural figures took place, and a founding report was also published. The project’s task is to create a discourse of intellectual and cultural elites on the construction of identity. Its first iteration in a fixed form is this selection, composed of public and non-public expert dialogues and formatted as a Polylog. Each of the experts insisted on the need for a discussion, so let this report-selection be a symbol of its large-scale beginning.
