Томос 1924 року про автокефалію православної церкви Польщі в контексті гібридної війни росії проти України

Значення Томосу 1924 року виходить за межі польської та церковної історій. Цим документом створено прецедент надання автокефалії колишнім єпархіям Київської Митрополії, визнано неканонічність її підпорядкування Московській Патріархії в 1686 році. 2018 року цю ж тезу використали в дискусіях для обгрунтування надання автокефалії Православній Церкві України. Обидва Томоси не можна розглядати поза контекстом конвенційних та гібридних воєн, рівно як і поза питаннями національної безпеки, якими переймалися чи переймаються нові незалежні держави – в 1924 році польська, а нині українська. Тим більше, що позиція сьогоднішньої ПАПЦ у самій Польщі викликає певні занепокоєння через її над- мірну лояльність до РПЦ. Тим часом у 2024 році ухвалені важливі політичні та законодавчі рішення щодо сукупності єпархій РПЦ в Україні, які називають себе «Українською Православною Церквою», і значну частину священства якої викрито у колабораціонізмі з країною-агресоркою. Для Росії як сто років тому, так і тепер, церковне питання є інструментом гібридної війни проти сусідів: хоча в двадцяті роки мину- лого століття цей термін ще не вживався, він цілком придатний і для аналізу подій того часу.
