«Black level»: About self-reflection in the socio-political discourse of russia (analysis of one publication)

The collective monograph «Russia as a state- civilization: higher goals and development alternatives» compiled based on the materials of the Jubilee International Panarinsky Readings (2016) is analyzed. In particular, the establishment of the concepts of the Russian «state-civilization», «Russian world», «Russian culture», «Russian Orthodoxy», their characteristic features and features, as well as the outline of the prospects for development and missions of Russia.A conclusion is made about the coherence of the corresponding constructions with the postulates of racism as an ideology and practice of national exclusivity and cultural superiority of Russians and Russia’s expansionist policy.
